Sharp launches new high-definition 16:9 wide displays
Sharp Devices Europe (SDE) has announced the availability of three new wide aspect ratio (16:9) Sharp LCD displays, the Full-HD 18.5-inch LQ185M3LW01, the Full-HD 15.6-inch LQ156M3LW01, and the HD 15.6-inch LQ156T3LW03.*
The new displays offer high contrast, wide viewing angles, and PWM dimmable LED backlight for exceptional performance in a number of different settings. Based on vertical alignment (VA) panels, the three new LCD models provide a cost-effective solution for everything from healthcare and industrial applications to consumer sports equipment. In the field of healthcare, Sharp VA panels are used for instance in connection with computer tomography and ultrasound systems. The new displays boast an integrated backlight driver together with a replaceable LED backlight giving brightness levels of 400 nits and service lives of up to 70,000 hours. Together with their wide 170 degree viewing angles and large colour gamut, these durable displays are well-suited to a range of demanding industrial settings.
